Recreational Cannabis Laws in Missouri

Missouri legalized recreational cannabis in 2022 through Amendment 3, a voter-approved constitutional amendment. Licensed retail sales began in February 2023. Missouri permits home cultivation of cannabis. Adults 21 and older may grow 6 flowering plants, 6 non-flowering plants, and 6 clones per individual. Plants must be kept in a secure, enclosed area not visible or accessible to the public and not accessible to minors. Home-grown cannabis may not be sold and must remain within legal possession limits.

Dispensaries and Retail

Missouri currently has over 200 licensed dispensaries operating across the state.
